there's an article on Braves.com saying that Mallex's season could be over with the broken thumb. Really sucks for him because he was really starting to come on as a valuable player. Hopefully he rebounds with an offseason's rest

I actually agree with Joe and Chip... Folty needs to stick with his fastball. He's been throwing far too many breaking balls lately.

I don't agree. He has been too fastball reliant for his entire career. I want him to work on his secondary offerings which had greatly lagged behind. Let them do damage to him this year while he gets a better feel.

I don't care about the box score, his curve, change, and especially his slider, are way better than when we originally acquired him.
