I actually think Fried has good command. Not easy for a career starter to excel immediately in this new role. He needs consistent starts to see what he's got.

A well located fastball is more important than movement IMO and I think he will prove to excel in that department. The fastball sets up his curve and change which are god pitches with the curve being plus.
