GDT: Braves @ Phillies Game 3: No Mentum Like Momentum

I am not throwing in the towel. Non zero chance the offense finds some life and we come back here and we could still get the next two.

But I am baffled that Tonkin was the go to. I just, can't imagine why he was the call here. I am not even mad, just baffled.

It was the call if Snit decided he was gonna save his pitchers tonight and try to gear up for tomorrow. It's like Snit can't pick a lane tonight

Because Snitker is an idiot. All he thinks is, it’s the 3rd inning, I can’t use any of my good relievers yet. Exactly why he was trying to squeeze some more outs out of Elder too.

****ing dumb manager leaves him in to lose the game. And we aren’t winning Game 4 with the Phillies amped up to close it out.

I don't blame Snit. Just working with scraps he's left with. When you have a $20m a year fossil who can't stay healthy because of a strained index finger and 3 other not so good internal options it is what it is. The best offense in the history of the game is getting owned and the GM had a chance to correct the pitching staff at the deadline and he did not. Plain and simple.

He put the worst pitcher on the roster in when the game was still close.

It wouldn’t matter who he got at the deadline if you don’t score runs.
