By the way, I still check out the old board from time to time and I found it amusing, they're trying to get the premium up and going with chats and talk shows. It will be hard for them to do that with all the regulars over here. That board is dying in a hurry and scout can not be pleased.
I have no clue what the thought process was with PD. It just didn't make sense. If you start alienating the ones that made the board special then you are endangering the future. It was just not well thought out. But, all those grandmas who love to post are safe now from the evils of the internets!

I can't believe there are enough kids and grandmas interested in sports blogs to worry about. PD just wanted so bad to send all the misbehavers to their rooms without dinner. It took a little over a year for his style of management to completely ruin one of the best baseball blogs ever.

I saw that thread from clvclv on the premium side. I was curious what it was about. I think that was before I invited him over, so can't really blame him for trying to get things going again.
PD has been noticeably absent for several days. I can't help but wonder if he got the boot or just gave up. I think he may have created a new screen name. JerryStarke posts suspiciously like PD.
In last nights GDT someone asks where everyone went. BenchGuy said "to another board". Might be a good time for someone who can post to post something like... Yeah, they're over at chopcountry.com now.

He had to have gotten the boot. That PM that was posted was flat out embarrassing and shows what a hypocrite PD was. He used to say the nastiest things on the talk shows and then turns around and becomes all high and mighty? It was pathetic. He is just an old man who got on a power trip.
At one point Weso PD asked me to send him all of the things you PMed to me. I'm ashamed to admit that I sent him the first message you sent me but then I realized that it was getting out of control.

He's been red hot since the month of May ended. He's up to 230 now. If he ends up having a good 2nd half and ends up hitting 270 with 20 homers we need to lock him up long term. He'll be a prime candidate for a breakout season next year and we need to pay him before it happens.
