I’m all for extending Ozuna but are we sure Liberty’s not gonna cut payroll next season?
That’s what MLB network were speculating at the trade deadline, that Casey Stern heard we are going to cut payroll next season due to Liberty not making the millions they did the year before due to the pandemic.

In a short season, Neck is great. He wears down as the season goes on. Maybe being a part time player would mitigate that.

May be all the Braves can afford in 2021.

An OF of Acuna and Pache with a Markakis/Duvall platoon and Ender on the bench could be pretty cheap and solid.

I have an irrational fear that Liberty is going to make us blow it up after this season to save money.

I thought I was done with him, but he's been good now that he's being used correctly which gives him some rest here and there.

He and Duvall, Acuña, plus a third (Pache, inciarte corpse) may still make sense.

AA made the right long-term move. Didnt see Ozuna being this productive though, he's been insane.

Can def see AA offer Bauer his 1-year special if Bauer is doing 1 year deals. If we could only do Ozuna/Bauer, i'd consider that a great winter.

We can all dream but why would they sell when we are the perfect setup for them. I mean they never get called out by the local media or fans for being cheap and they make great money.
