GDT: Braves @ Red Sox 9/1; #MyNewAce's follow up

Y’all sure Riley hasn’t figured it out?

Still too early for me.

But really nice to see him drive the ball the other way. If he’s ever going to have a shot to hit over 250 he needs some singles.

I really like the signs. I know the babip is high but he’s not Chris Johnson out there. He is hitting most of these with authority.

Difference being Anderson was able to execute pitches, Wright hasn't yet been able to consistently.

What I’m referring to is Wright eliminating his fastball the 2nd time through the order after dominating with it the first time through against the Marlins. Anderson smartly waited until the 3rd trip to change something up, and he had success.

But, yes, ultimately Wright couldn’t execute ****, and that was his downfall.

Ender Inciarte's 77.7 mph average exit velocity this season is the lowest among qualified players in the history of Statcast.

Yeah, Wright changed the plan after guys literally saw 1-2 pitches. Then when it was clear he couldn't execute, he kept throwing awful pitch after awful pitch.

It was rough to watch.

Hasn't Anderson just thrown what the catcher called? If so, maybe that's how Wright should be required to pitch

There's nothing good to say about Ender right now. He literally looks like he's done, and the sample size is getting big enough to mean something.
