He's not totally off base quite yet. I don't remotely think it will happen, but split this series in Cincinnati and sweep the Mets and you're probably looking at a 2 game deficit going into next weekend. It is stupid how still in it we could be given the quality of the lineup at the moment.
Look at the Mets lineup and wonder how they are in 1st. ****ty division this year.

They probably won't win it unless DeGrom stays active all year and honestly, I can't see that happening. I think it is Philly's to lose. AA got caught with his pants down on this one. Melancon shouldn't be in SD and Duvall shouldn't be in Miami.

Which stings even more because we could have easily run away with the division. We had the depth on the pitching side to sustain the inevitable injuries that all teams would be facing.
