Hell of a turnaround for the kid

wright hasn't looked fluky to me. Those numbers back it up.

You're not going to get me to sign onto the idea that he's a top 25 pitcher in MLB right now. But he looks like a guy I think I'd be happy to have as my 3 on a team looking to compete for the WS.

As it currently stands, you'd have Morton, Fried, Wright starting games 1-3 in a playoff series. Anderson and Strider move to the pen

If I had to decide today. I feel most comfortable with Fried, Wright and Strider in that order. I just know that Strider is likely going 4-5 innings and I need Morton or Anderson ready on the back side. They would never do that.

But I do think that is a solid group.

Depending on where we finish and the new playoff set up, maybe you need more than 3 starters, not sure. But you are right that Strider will go to the pen in reality. Strider may also be on an innings restriction by then.

I like Mortons experience in the playoffs leading the rotation. He seems to find another gear. Strider can be the mop up guy or possible opener
