I like Will. He’s a good fit for his current role. I’m all for bringing him back on a contract that matches his performance.

Anything more than 5 million a year for Will is too much. AA should do what he did with Martin and Melancon. Trade for a guy already under contract from a deal a few years ago.

But we have Yates coming back, as well as McHugh under contract, and Matzek/Minter as late inning options plus could bring back Luke. So Jansen/Smith is probably a one or the other, not sure we bring back both.

The brewers have zero reason to agree to that.

Not close enough IMO to consider a Yelich for Ozuna trade. They have made the playoffs the last 4 years. Currently leading their division. And Burnes is a free agent after 2024.

As long as they keep staying in contention I suspect they try to keep it together at least until Burnes hits FA.
