For all the dislike Garcia gets around here, he came through tonight and is now hitting .324 with a .866 OPS on the season. Pretty good IMO.

Now that Beckham is hitting and Olivera is gone, Garcia playing at least part-time in LF makes sense simply because Garcia is a good defender in LF and much better there than at third.

I;d be pissed if I was a Cubs fan. Vizcaino is realatively healthy as a Braves prospect, traded to the Cubs and pitches about 50 innings total and only 5 MLB innings over 3 years, then traded back to the Braves and perfectly healthy again.

I loved the trade and although I'm not that big on La Stella, he looks like he's going to be a handy part for the Cubs. He's probably going to be a good pinch-hitter and he can play two positions. LHH utility guys seem to draw consistent paychecks in the big leagues.
