GDT: Braves vs Orioles. Game on MLB Network at 1 pm

I've always really struggled to understand why people want to eat the "run some cheap ass meat through a blender, press it and some flavoring into a shape, and call it the meat you want to pretend it is" foods, whether that be potted meat, spam, McDonald's "fish" sandwiches, or CFA's "chicken" sandwiches.

Derp.

Definitely have to hand the crown to CFA. The sandwich is great, and the service puts them over the top IMO. I dont eat a lot of fast food, but when I do it's there. By comparison, the last time I went to Burger King the cashier, while taking my order, was arguing with his manager saying he wanted to leave 3 hours early. The manager finally said fine, leave, so the guy took off his hat and walked out and someone else came up to finish my order lol.

The spicy Popeyes sandwich is quite good though - nice bit of a kick to it

this is just wrong for CFA. wendy’s and mcdonald’s sure. CFA is definitely a legit whole piece of breast.

When I had CFA, that's exactly what it was... it looked very much like the McD's fish sandwich. It was a small, blended, formed patty on a bun with a cold, unmelted piece of cheese atop it. That was, emm... sometime between 1984 and 1988, and I haven't been back to a CFA since.

Tough scene.

They don't even put cheese on CFA sandwiches... I think you were somewhere else and remember it wrong. Even if it were correct... sure, let's use the mid to late 80s as an appropriate time to judge?

This is so bizarre.

Spicy Chicken Deluxe has cheese on it.

CFA's chicken is nothing like that now....at all. so maybe judging them on something 30+ years ago isn't the best move.
