I love how a relatively easy 3-1 win manifests in the game thread as three hours of complaining and b*tching about the umpiring.

It was deserved. Could have been an easy 5-1 win instead.

i still wouldn't say he's been particularly good.

I’m not saying I’m not also filled with trepidation every time he enters a game with a narrow lead. But sometimes it’s nice to see how those feelings don’t jibe with the reality of results.

On the other hand, “fewest blown saves” aggregate (as opposed to rate) is likely in part a function of limited opportunities the last few years. Can’t blow a save if your team is always behind.
