GDT: Braves vs Pirates Game 3

Late to the dance. I guess those odd line-ups weren't all Fredi's idea. Either that or he left a virus on the team bus that Snitker has contracted.

Julio es buena. Sorry, haters.

I've always liked Julio, I'd even argue that it seems the Braves brass seem to underrate him and almost sold low on him (instead they sold VERY LOW on Wood and Peraza). It's great to see Teheran doing very well because at least now if he's traded we'll have a better shot of getting a very good return.

That said, I still think we'll need a good experienced starter like Julio is to lead our young rotation next year and the free agent market looks terrible. So if we trade him we are likely to downgrade our rotation for next year.

No argument. Too bad his W-L record is a reflection of his lack of run support much more than his pitching abilities.

I've been a fan of his for a long time. He is what he is. I wish there were less discussion of whether or not he's an "ace"—IMO, he's not—and more appreciation for what he is, which is a damned good pitcher and a hell of a competitor. He balls hard every time out, and I appreciate it.

Is it just me or does Inciarte just seem incredibly smooth tracking down balls in CF? I'm okay with Mallex but IMO Inciarte seems a little more natural at that position right now.

Braves fan's don't handle a player not living up to expectations very well.
