GDT: BRAVES VS PIRATES GAME 4

Yup, he's back. This is embarrassing. We know he's better than this - he needs to show it.

His biggest issue is his temper, IMO. He gets mad and starts overthrowing, everything gets out of sequence.

Man! He reminds me so much of a young John Smoltz. Is the psychologist that helped Smoltz out still around?

Jaso looks like so many guys I begrudgingly smoked a joint with, at a youthful social gathering, simply because they brought it.

Then you realize they're going to want to talk to you ...

Folty's done. He's never shown the mental fortitude to deal with what's happened to him tonight.

Sadly, this was prescient.

Twice—first against McCutchen, then against Polanco—he had the batter where he wanted him, then couldn't put away the (albeit very good) hitters. I don't know if it's "fortitude," but it's definitely an issue of mentality.

That is also because his secondary pitches are not good enough. Not to mention his others issues.

I hope the next CBA proscribes that 'do.

I think he's demonstrated progress, especially with the two-seamer, but also with the slider; it's just not all consistently coming together yet. I'm nonetheless more hopeful about his prospects now than I was at the end of 2015.

Joe "fully supports this move," so obviously it's idiotic.

At 5-1, in a lost season, just let Foltynewicz pitch through his struggles.
