No other sports that are/were in bubble had fans.
They also don't play hockey or basketball outside.

This is a dumb take. Indoors makes no difference. Players and fans can interact in both strings and often do. But the reason there are no fans is to keep the players from coming into contact while not playing. They can control everyone in the bubble.
indoors/outdoors DOES make a difference with the virus.
I feel like inside the stadium would be safer than the pictures in the Battery...outside does matter of course.
i just mean in general.
i think they could have fans in the stands, just much fewer than normal.
I feel they can have fans in the stands too. But why do a bubble then add fans. Keep the games at home parks and do fans. Bubble + fan = no sense.

oh, yeah, if you're going to try and "bubble" then i don't think having fans is smart.

They want fans at the World Series. Not all states would allow that. It's the reason there won't be any fans in the ALCS.
Right. Which is why they should have the ALCS in Houston.

They can't do that when the Astros are going to be in the ALCS.
I guess they could flip-flop and play the NLCS in Houston and the ALCS in Arlington.

Due to recent events, I'm not as confident that being outside matters a ton.
Being outside doesn't mean a damn thing if you're not socially distancing and/or keeping interactions as brief as possible. Some of the worst flare-ups have been at crowded beaches.
