GDT : Braves vs Reds game 2

Man thinking about this rotation with Soroka added in is exciting.

Soroka/Anderson/Fried with Wright, and ? as the 5th is a nice start for 21. Doubt we can get Bauer due to Covid, but thats a nasty top 4 if AA pulled that off.

Reds offense maybe isn't that great, and this is a 16-team playoff, not the elite.

But we got 7 shutout innings from Fried and 6 from Anderson, both on their 1st postseason start.

I don't know if we ever got this kind of performance by our starters in 2 consecutive playoff games, not even with Maddux, Smoltz and Glavine...

Every pitcher in the park has gotten superstar results for about 20 innings so far. Something besides good pitching is probably accounting for some of it.

Two shut out starts, no.

95, 96, and 97 had fairly dominant opening rounds.

Wow based off my analysis from Baseball Tonight’s talking points and my MVP Baseball 2005 Edit-a-player roster updates... Ian Anderson was absolutely awful and is nothing more than a bullpen pitcher! Lolololololol stand by for my next analysis featuring the baseball conversation my 3rd step dad had with me. I’ll make a thread.

I guess it’ll depend on Soroka progress. They’ll definitely bring in another good starter this offseason. Who is anybody’s guess with AA. Milone was a huge bust.
