Good series win. 22 shutout innings from the pitching staff. Exemplary starts from Fried and Anderson to go along with just enough hitting.
I'm especially happy because a majority of the "experts" (and I use the term loosely) over at mlb.com had the Reds advancing. Even today, the guy writing things up was giving the Braves backhanded compliments. I get that the Trevor Bauer saga made the Reds a sexy pick and the Braves aren't a team without warts, but there's a reason the Braves were the #2 seed and the Reds were the #7. This edition of the Reds is basically the matchbox version of the Big Red Machine.
