Will Smith's appearance tonight was his 5th since July 10. Monday is a day off. He has also pitched well this season on day two of consecutive games.

It was also Rich Rod's fifth appearance since the 10th. He hadn't pitched at all in 8 days.

No problem at all with either pitching tonight.
