GDT: Cubs @ Braves 4/29

Well, at least we know Wilson and Tomlin are likely Braves two worst pitchers but this outcome isn’t surprising.
 
Everyone hates the smyly deal, and granted it was for much more, but I hated the Tomlin deal. Why sign him to a guaranteed deal when you know money is tight and Wilson can be a garbage man?
 
Not sure why you can be mad about Tomlin. He’s making 500k Over the minimum. That doesn’t change anything.

Smyly might earn his money. He might suck. Braves might be too reliant on their models. Seem to be on the draft side at least.

But you are coming off a sss season with soroka having a major injury. They went high upside.

Honestly my concern is the offense. I think if they hit like 75 percent of last year we should be right there for the division.

Fried Anderson Morton should be dang good. Ynoa may be a solid 5. Then smyly soroka Wright...hit on one. Adjust at the deadline

I just don't get the point of keeping Tomlin unless it's a leadership deal. He's strictly a garbage man
 
That's game. Had a shot there with a lhp having to stay in to face ozuna, but FF fails. Oh well, get going again tomorrow... please don't flirt with .500 all year, braves
 
More than a lost game!!

Lost top position in NL East. Fell back into tie with Phiiiies

Lost + run differential. were +4, now -2

The 10 was a complete laugher though. They had position players pitching the last couple innings. It's those sort of games that seem like always result in a let down the next day. I haven't done any research, and I could be completely off, but it does seem that way.

Maybe. And it's not like 3 runs means we got shut down. Again, our starting pitching, let the team down. It's the one clear issue right now.
