Yea, Soroka's not retiring Pollock is the whole reason Newcomb even entered the game there.

Notice the Braves stacked LHH vs Maeda, and now the Dodgers are going to neutralize it with Urias?

That's exactly what Snit tried to do with Soroka/Newk, but Newk isn't as good as Urias.

He was absolutely the right move. Dodgers are crazy good. The 0-2 take from Muncy on that nasty breaking ball was tremendous. Them fouled off a poorly located 97.

Newk's almost 10 ERA in his last 7 and 6 ERA in his last 15 says otherwise. That was just bad pitching by a reliever who has been struggling after his great start out of the pen.
