GDT: Dodgers 2 Braves game 1: Have the boys turned into men?

According to Bowman, Ender could barely walk leaving the stadium. He'll be evaluated tomorrow, but looks like a significant hamstring injury.

They might as well shut him down. I really wouldn’t be opposed to bring up Pache and see if he can be a spark.

I love Kelsey, she’s easily the best at her job on the Braves broadcast. But I kind of want you to change your avatar. I can’t help but hear a female voice every time you post.

I'm seeing Billy Hamilton mentioned, and I'd definitely sooner see Pache as that. At least we'd get excellent defense, and I'd think he'd have a shot at at least matching BH's putrid excuse for offense.

the Dodgers are such a trash organization. They would be a last place team if they were in an average market. Mother****ers had a 291 million payroll in 2015. Yeah, I know, payroll isnt that important....... when/if MLB ever does go to a salary cap then teams like the Dodgers and Yankees should get half as much as everyone else so they can show how insignificant a massive payroll advantage is.

lol....TD is not the answer to anybodys problem.

I agree But Puig is and who we should of targeted.
Look at his stats since the trade with Cleveland.
Say what you will about how goofy the dude is, he would of been what this team needed even before the injures much less now.
Oh well.
I see the only choices being to bring up one of the kids with Pache more preferable, or sign another retread like Hamiton and hope for the best.
Our bigger concern is our mangers inability to properly use what RP we do have.
Even if they were to bring Minter back up which I’ve seen called for, I don’t think Snit knows he would need to use him as a LOOGY like a better Blevins.
He burned Martin tonight for no reason.
He is a breathtakingly awful in game strategist.
I know the Dodgers are the superior team and we are a year ahead of schedule from truly competing for a WS title but to be the Dodgers next year, I believe we need a new manager or the front office will have to call the shots behind the scenes.

Dodgers straight clowning us.

How about a Folty fastball in his earhole tonight? While his words are true the last few years, there's really no reason to go there. One can always question him about why he was a nothing and all of a sudden turned into a nice player at 27 years old.

Normally I'd agree, but we bout to be playing Ortega and lamarre. This is threat level midnight

Yeah TD has not been that bad with the Tigers so far. .828 OPS. He's played 15 games for them since the trade, and has gotten a hit in 11 of them. SSS and all that, but still that's useful.

Inciarte is likely done for the year. That hammy's gonna take a bit, and even if he heals kinda quick he's going to run out of minor league games to rehab in. I hope Duvall is not the answer but fear that he is.

Haha yeah. Muncy's a bit of an ass now. He's right though, and I blame the reporter for asking that. It's not a rivalry because we don't beat them enough. Going to need to start putting up some Ws before we can claim it's a "rivalry"

I usually don’t have issues with the jab across the isle. It does feel like maybe he’s forgotten he was a gnats hair from being out of baseball and lucked up on the dodgers.

But I’m still fine with it. It’s the obvious answer

Is "luck" what we're calling it now?

Things to do tomorrow:

1) Bring back Duvall for Inciarte
2) Activate Minter and option Newk
3) Put McCann and one lefty hitting OF into the lineup against Ryu of the Reverse Splits

Option Newk should be an obvious move. DOB reports

Minter has pitched in 5 games since his demotion. O BBs and 6 Ks.

The case for a Minter Newk do-si-do is pretty clear
