Reminds me of something from 95, I forget now whether DS or CS. Smoltzie had a pretty poor game, but the BP took the loss. Next day, two guys were talking about it in a store I was in, and one guy says "it's the same thing that happens every year, Smoltz sucks in the postseason! We'd have won in 91 if he could pitch when it counts!" My estimation of the intelligence of our fanbase dropped a lot that day.
