GDT gnats 4/3/18

Feels like we had 10 posters on this board saying how happy they were we didn't trade him.. on Thursday

I still love him. It's one start against one of the best teams in baseball.

As a community I think we need to move past past debates and embrace the new era of braves baseball. I know many won't but I will do my best to no contribute to this.

Guys I understand that Julio is bad and everything. But can we talk about WHY IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY WE KEPT CHUCK HERNANDEZ!?!?!?!? I mean, come on. There is no way that any reasonable person can say that guy has done a good job. Where is this awesome pitching coach that we are supposed to have in Rome or Mississippi or whatever? Bring his ass up here.

Remember when some folks thought it was stupid not to trade Teheran during the rebuild?

Remember when some folks thought it was a good idea to allow Teheran to “anchor” the 2017+ rotation?

Who ended up being right?

Just checking in on the GDT to see if Enscheff has started telling everyone how smart he is....

David Justice was my very first favorite player. Used to imitate his stance and swing in Little League. I'll always have a soft spot for him.

Dude clearly isn't following baseball at all these. Which is totally cool - no reason he needs to. But that reaction when Joe asked him about watching the Nationals was hilarious. Bryce Harper and a long "Ummmmmmmmmm."

I mean the nega braves were mocked tirelessly for doubting the genius of the Coppy FO

Everyone is mocked for everything on this board. Should we bring up the times those same people were on the right side of an argument? It's just too much now on both sides with me contributing to it way to mucn

Want-a-pat-on-the-back-Braves

The ones wanting to get rid of Julio were correct. I wanted to trade him too. However, the need to constantly bring it up and brag so they can feed their fragile egos tells you all that you need to know about them.

Just deal Julio now and sell low before his value gets even lower. This guy sucks.

The good news is we are in the fourth year of our rebuild around pitching, so I’m sure we have tons of young proven studs in the rotation.

"Continuity"

Apparently even if Snitker did get fired, Chuck Hernandez was being kept.

There is no value for JT...at worse we could get minor league depth for him...his value was high 3-4 years ago...

It's quite obvious the previous regime overall failed in the selling of veteran players for prospects part of the rebuild.

Biggest complaint against them, for me—even over and above the tawdry smugness and hubristic flouting of amateur-signing rules.
