And they’re finally starting to slow down at the worst possible time. That’s why you don’t punt the first two months of the season.
How are they slowing down?

I agree Olson needs to be dropped.
What an annoying game. This was a win, until it wasn‘t. As disappointing as the bats were, this one‘s on the coaching staff. No reason to extend Matzek after how he looked in the 6th. Chavez should be pitching long relief and mop up, not with runners on in 1 run games. And if they‘re going to stick with Olson, at least drop him to 7th.
Perhaps you’re looking at it the wrong way. We’re in a tight division race with high stakes but we already have made the playoffs. Snit needs to know who in that bullpen can do what before the playoffs start.
Look it is not a given, over these last four series go 9-4 and take your chances. I feel like 9-4 will be enough, 10-3 will most certainly win the East.

How many opportunities are we going to blow? This is the fourth or fifth time the last two weeks that we could have either pulled even or added ground. When we lose it by a game or two or lose the tiebreaker, this is one of the ones we are going to look back on.
7-5 over their last 12.
Yeah...a 95 win pace is horrible. So slightly less than perfect the last couple of weeks.
If my math is right, they're 70-29 since the run started. It'd be even crazier if they hadn't flat-out given away around 10 of those losses.
The Braves hit 3 million attendance during the game. That feels like a huge accomplishment. They have done it in over 2 decades
