I think Newcomb is partially a concentration pitcher, and he has none right now. Not a huge disaster run wise, all things considered

Wow, he chased ball four. That was a break, could've been worse than 2-0. I doubt Newk lasts long tonight, his control is still terrible. He really should've walked another that last AB.

Remember when someone posted tons of data that already showed how unlikely he was to meaningfully improve his control at such an advanced age?

Remember when everyone argued against that data?

Remember when you thought Newk was throwing 104?

I just don't understand how somebody could be so consistently off with their curveball. I mean he isn't missing by a little bit. He is skipping it to the catcher or nearly throwing it over his head. If he can just locate that pitch in the general vicinity of the plate it would be fine.
