I wanted to trade Newk this past off-season because I believe his stock will fade fast with his control issues.

I just don't understand how somebody could be so consistently off with their curveball. I mean he isn't missing by a little bit. He is skipping it to the catcher or nearly throwing it over his head. If he can just locate that pitch in the general vicinity of the plate it would be fine.

When he even kind of locates it, it's a good pitch

It's like two different pitchers. When hes got the right release point he hits the catcher's glove. When his release point is off he misses by feet.

Albies doesn't look good to start this season, too aggressive chasing bad pitches. No patience.

Albies is going to be good but he will have to settle down. When he is going good he will take a walk, but he won't walk at all being this aggressive.

Newk is giving up too many hard hit balls. At least he may be able to give us 5 innings even if he gives up 10 runs
