Who went into this off season thinking we had anything to worry about when it comes to scoring runs in the regular season? We all went into this off season saying we needed not just a good game 3 started but multiple starters knowing Fried/Morton are in their last year. And AA nailed that.

The platoon was pretty for LF, but Acuna hurt his knee in ST, so there shoulda been a plan for that imo.

I don't think he has been completely trash all year. He was walking some still.. Just striking out a bit more than usual, but yes as of late he has been having his hard hit balls actually find grass.
 
So Duvall hit a ball 101 with launch angle of 26 degrees.. in 2024 that ratio has an average of .655 and a 51% homer rate.. the average distance is 382... Duvall's went 368..


is the ball spinning which causes it to die? wind? what makes a ball delta from its median that much??

He has been better than people have given him credit for he just hasn't been super red hot so his stats have just been slowly climbing. Last 30 days Olson .297/.351/.545 with 6 homers which is almost identical to what Ozuna's stats in that time. Olson since May 1st .279/.344/.485. which isn't terrible.
