GDT: Mets @ Braves 03/23: Return of the Venezuelan Trout

Ozuna may or may not rebound. Didn’t he fool everyone last year with a solid spring and like 2 good weeks in the regular season before falling off a cliff? I guess I’m a little more optimistic because he seemed to get back on track at the end of the year a bit.

Ozuna had a .542 ops last spring

I must be remembering the first couple weeks of the regular season then.

.823 ops in 2021. Obviously didn't carry over to season.

.310 ops in 2020. Ozuna had a monster season.

Obviously ST numbers for him aren't a predictor. Still, I like seeing him hit do well

Shuster isn't locating as well as he has in recent spring outings but still looks pretty good.

Shuster has gotten out of some trouble but he has not had his command today and has had some hard contact off of him.

When Shuster locates that change up it is just a nasty pitch. Just having a hard time consistently locating today

Shuster looked like a #5 that inning. Falling behind and not locating his pitches very well. Although a coordinated catcher and he probably gets out of that inning with no runs scored.
