GDT: Phillies @ Braves Day Game, What Could Go Wrong?

Olson has had to of had crazy pressure on him from the jump since getting here. The media, fans, teammates, and then seeing Freeman act like he did would weigh on somebody. He gets a free pass from me this year regardless. You don’t just come in and replace a cornerstone style franchise player and not have pressure.

This..

I know I give him sh*t but it’s all in the moment. I’ve got the absolute upmost respect for the dude. To have to come in and replace a future HOF 1B that all we’ve known for 11 years is insanely difficult. He’s handled it with class and as much respect as he possibly could. I’m proud of Olson and I’m glad he’s our 1B…whenever I find myself wavering I just remember Fick, Thorman, Kotchman, and Glaus.

This has to be the most short sighted take on a baseball move I’ve ever seen.

Well done.

I told you in the post I only care about '22. '23-'27 matter very little to me. Although a half year of Doubles has shown me that while Olson is very good, Freddie is clearly better and I can't see it changing. LA will have the better first baseman in '28 as well.
