I think Fredi moving LaStella back down to 7th in the order has helped. I really believe, although he would never say it, that Tommy was pressing at the top of the order. His approaches are also better.

Its good value while he is cheap. Most of the at bats he will take are the backup catcher at bats which is normally one of the worst hitters on the team.
