Looking at their careers... they are actually about the same... and DeShields probably actually a little bit better

Probably just getting his PAs. Not saying I agree with it, but I bet that's snit's thinking. I'd be surprised if Contreras isn't in the lineup soon... well, unless he's a place holder for Acuna

Actually not sure I understand the Deshields signing. Heredia has one option left, so he could be sent down if Waters somehow gets on a hot streak or Harris goes on a tear and they push him aggressively. You've already got Waters and Dean splitting CF reps in Gwinnett - do they really want Waters spending that much more time on the corners?
