Chipper also never had 100 or more strikeouts. Freeman has yet to have a year with less than 129.

Freeman has shown steady improvement in a lot of categories. Strikeout rate in his three years has dropped from 22.4 to 20.8 to 19.2 (and 18.2 in the second half of this year). His OPS in the second half is now around .900.
 
Fredi's post-game PC's are always entertaining because the cliche's and Bobby talk is amazing.

Our starter could go 5IP and give up 4ER with 3BB, and he'd say "he really really looked good out there. Just made a few mistake pitches but he gave us a chance to win."

You can tell he is just begging inside his head not to have anyone ask him why he made a particular move.
