That's baseball for ya. Also in fairness, the Reds are playing some really good baseball right now, we caught them at the wrong time.
Who cares they were winnable games AT HOME to say the least!

Relievers are volatile. Bullpens are comprised of relievers. Even the best bullpens blow up at times.
The Braves’ is not the best, but nor is it the worst. It could be better. I hope modest steps are taken to make it better.

Big sweep, the boys deserved it. Thankfully we had enough runs to hold on despite Snit trying his best to give it all back with his stupid bullpen moves again. Culberson has been huge for us so far this year. As much as I like Moylan as a person, he needs to be DFA'd soon as Snit uses him in too many big situations when we have better options. The Cardinals came in this series not at their best, played bad defense all series and deserved to be swept.
Also, those that keep saying that's just baseball regarding losing those last two series. Sure that happens, but the difference is that against Baltimore that one game we had no business losing was probably the worst managed game all season. That is how you lose that game. Today's game wasn't that badly managed despite Snit's ignoring reversed splits again and taking Biddle out for Moylan who has struggled a lot lately. Again, thankfully our last two relievers held on as blowing another big lead would've stung badly after the previous two series. Minter has been great lately, that helps. Winkler hasn't but still did the job thanks to a great catch by Ender.
I would love to get Claudio from Texas to give us a lefty specialist because I am afraid Biddle vs lefties is what Snit is going to continue doing. If not it will be Freeman and given his usage he may be cooked soon.
