It does seem as if the Braves are dancing with the idea of going full on in with just give me all you got with 2 times through and lets see about the 3rd time. I don't see a full go all in happening though.

I would. I’ve been told that if a pitcher is cruising through the order the first two times, he should have no problem facing the order a 3rd time.

OK, but what was the OPS looking like before that? Maybe I should revise the statement to describe the dropoff from clear MVP front-runner to MVP candidate, but the point still holds. Of course, the binary thinkers in here will think I'm bashing Freddie. I'm not, but go look at where the season stats were in June

no, apologies if that came off as directed towards you... I'm honestly not in here enough to know exactly who I'm referring to, and I'm definitely not in the habit of going back to old threads to comb for a "gotcha" moment (like others in here childishly do)...but there are quite a few reactionary types in here that totally miss the point half the time, because they read a comment about a guy and overreact to any criticsm toward a player at all.
