Getting An Early Start - GDT 10/4/2013: LA (Zack Stinky) @ ATL (Mike MAJOR!) Game 2

Such a beautiful HR.

I was sitting in the upper deck down the right field line amongst a whole lot of drunk people. Never hugged so many strangers in my life and never heard the stadium that loud before. I don't care how bad Hinske got. He was solidified as a favorite of mine after that.

Game 3 is probably the most favorable pitching matchup we will probably see this series. I feel like we are due for a homer and to have a good offensive night. I dont think its a lock that Kershaw pitches game 4 if we win game 3 because he threw 124 pitches. Even if he does he shouldnt be as sharp and likely wont be allowed to go over 100 pitches. We could hopefully get 1-2 runs vs him or atleast get him our of the game in the 5th or 6th inning. I think we pound Nolasco in game 4 if he starts.

Anyone else hearing Ryu is carrying an injury?

I wasn't aware that extreme chubbiness constituted an "injury."

I was sitting down the left field line and I remember asking my brother the next day how many strangers he hugged after the homer. I think I hugged like 5 or 6. It was awesome. The stadium was shaking.

Well the reasoning was that was the first dramatic homerun we had hit in a close game like that late in the game since Fookie's Walk-Off Drunk Shot off Lidge.

He looks like the kid no one picked to play and is stuck sitting on the side with glove ready.

What does he expect coming dressed like that? Some sort of khaki/sweatpant looking pant, and whatever you call that faux-jacket thing he's wearing. We know it's sleeveless Ryu!! You're not fooling anyone with your longsleeve shirt underneath!!

And neon shoelaces? That's a clear equipment violation.
