Every political ad will simply be
"The American people are perfectly capable of having their say on this issue, so let’s give them a voice. Let’s let the American people decide. The Senate will appropriately revisit the matter when it considers the qualifications of the nominee the next president nominates, whoever that might be.” - Mitch McConnell
For the vulnerable Pubes (which there are a lot more than Dems) this could be exactly what the DNC wants. The clearest most public firing squad to shoot the republican senators who held this opinion in 2016. It could lead to a strong flip in the Senate. THe Dem goal is to get to even 50/50 if this goes through and the dems do their job right it probably sways to at least 53/47 but honestly could go 55/45 though that's very unlikely.
People forget about the lame duck session after the election. You have 2 months to get the votes without an election hanging over people's heads.
Too many people venerate Ginsburg because she agreed with them politically. A horrible human being could agree with her politically and vote the same as her.
Instead of honoring her for her political beliefs, honor her for other reasons. Honor her for serving with dignity. Honor her for setting an example for other young women. Her stances on abortion or gay rights is literally the least remarkable thing about her.

Her friendship with Scalia is a great reminder that politics aint everything.
After the dems blew their wad on the kavanuagh gang raping event... I wonder what is in store for the next nominee.
RIP.
Sad that we likely know what McConnell and Trump are going to do now.
I don't understand why people are upset about Mcconnell saying he's going to get a Trump nominee a vote. We're you actually expecting something different? Would you expect the Democrats to act at all differently of the situations were reversed?
I'm not saying this is good behavior. Just saying it's utterly predictable.
