Glad to be back

Hi everyone, I know most of you don't know me since I don't post much but this is the first time in years that I haven't been on the site at least once a day. Haven't been here for 2 weeks.
I live in the Bahamas and unfortunately, where the worst of hurricane Dorian past by. I and all of my family and friends made it but it's unbelievable how much destruction we suffered. We wouldn't have made it this far without the much anticipated help from our friends in the US.
One thing I really miss is being able to watch the Braves and it looks like they've been playing well since then. Hopefully I'll be able to watch some of the post season.
Anyway, glad to be back and looking forward to a long run in the post season to have something to look forward to.
Go Braves!

Welcome back. And hope life in the Bahamas gets back to some semblance of normality as quickly as possible.

good to hear you made it. i have friends who have a house on Andros. apparently it didn't hit much there at all. weird to me how that happens.

I'm glad you're okay and feel for the devastation you're dealing with. Still, you live in paradise so that's something.

Glad to have you back and everyone in the Bahamas are in my thoughts. When did you move to the Bahamas? I knew you had a ranch in Texas. Also, thanks for picking up a stranded Freddie Freeman during that snowfall a few years back.

Thanks everyone. I still don't have much of an internet connection. I've tried a couple times earlier today to get on but couldn't.
I and my immediate family are lucky compared to most. My house has almost no damage, my brother's houses due very well and my parents house has minor damage but lots of houses have been completely destroyed. Lots of houses have major damage and lots of water issues. It passed over us at 185 mph and we heard from the US coast guard that there were gusts well north of 200 mph.
I'll try to post more over the next few days and maybe some pictures.
