The problem with Libertarianism is people want immediate fixes to the problem and if you can't give them that they would rather go with the Republicrats who will promise immediate fixes by doubling down on what caused the problem. Also people say they want freedom but they really mean they want the freedom to push their version of morality on others. Freedom isn't being allowed to only make government approved good choices and it's not the governments job to provide for people who make bad choices.

I believe BL needed to see this. He believed such talks would have been "news to him".
 
This was all obvious from the beginning.

Putin was RIGHT to do what he did because the US kept acting like the aggressor for 15 years (shortly interrupted by the 'Peace President').

Feel bad for the idiots that thought this was a 'Putin Bad' situation and that he was wrong to invade. Looks like some people don't understand that are always multiple perspectives and not just the 'US' perspective.

Yeah, the guy whose goal it is to reunify the USSR has to be pushed into war. Lets just give dictators whatever they want to avoid war. That's worked so well before. China wants Taiwan? So obviously we should abandon them so there no war.

I do not see what options Israel has at this point after they discovered vast networks happening in broad daylight in Gaza.

If the Palestinians facilitate the demise of Israelis then they are the same as Hamas.

Israel still doesn't need our help doing this but I think its clear this has to be the path forward or else we will be right back here in another 10 years.

Hamas was in many ways Israel's creature. They calculated (or miscalculated as turned out to be the case) that Hamas would be a useful foil. Israel could play a more constructive role in nurturing a responsible Palestinian political leadership. But as you note it is their choice. They seem to prefer not to have an interlocutor they can make a deal with.

Israel could commit to wiping the ass of every Palestinian for the next century and it wouldn’t be enough to stop the hated.
