Trump has the option of taking his foot off the saudis and Israelis and have them do the dirty work instead
The early returns are very good for the US and the current administration. The worst thing that can happen now is another aggression by Trump.
This is a massive PR win if this is the end of it and truly no US casualties are incurred.

Iraqi PM said Solemani arrived in Baghdad for talks with the Iraqi PM at the request from IMPOTUS. Pretty sure luring state officials to an assassination under the guise of peace talks is a war crime.
