His hope is probably by destroying the infrastructure the people will rise against the IRG with no electricity, transit for good, and then he can come in and be the savior later on.
 
This ends with our acceptance that tolls to pass are the new norm. Irans been waiting for this for a long time and we gave them a legitimate reason to do it. They will make more money off it than Obama could have ever conceived of giving them. Trump got played because he is a retard.

We are in a loop.

1. Trump claims war end is near.

2. Iran says fuck you no its not.

3. Trump makes threats and sets deadline.

4. Trump claims theres nothing or no one left to bomb.


Rinse. Wash. Repeat. He cant gaslight his way out of it and thats the only strategy he knows.
