The only good thing about the embassy attack? The left inadvertently stated how bad Benghazi was as they were rooting for it to happen again to Trump.

it's crazy to think a photo of someone near President Obama is trying to be viewed as bad from trump people while he goes around and gets nothing in return for taking pictures with the rulers of countries

Guys, it's hard to overstate the gravity of what's happening tonight. The US just killed perhaps the second most powerful person in Iran. Things could go sideways quick.

This has been brewing for a long time. Iranians aggression can not be tolerated any longer.

There is still significant civilian protest and discontent with the iranian government right now so they could not be more vulnerable. Sanctions are crushing them.

Hard to see how Iran responds with force. For self preservation Iran may stand down

You know what would have been a better idea?

Not bailing out of the Iran agreement. The Iran Agreement gave more influence to Rouhani over the Ayatollah because it was very popular amingst the people.

Even when Khomeni gave his "approval" it was nothing more than lip service because the cabinet and people already wanted it.

We had a great opportunity to move Iran forward but Trump just couldn't resist. Our militaries were conducting operations together against Al Qaeda and ISIS insurgencies in Iraq. There was an opportunity there.

People think Rouhani and the Ayatollah are heavily aligned but they're not as much as people think.

A rational person making decisions on economic and political vest interests in Iran would be looking to deescalate right now. Iran might literally not be able to afford to go to war right now. Their economic situation is not good.

However, Iran is not known for rational leadership making decisions on economic realities.

This could easily be seen as a major insult to Iran and honor might outweigh rationality.

There will be consequences. I'm not saying this was the right move or wrong move. But either way, there will be consequences.

There is no moving forward with the Mullahs in charge. They only understand force.

Iran used all the money received from the Obama administration to cause disruption throughout the middle east.

The juxtaposition of the two administrations could not be more defined. Lets see what works better.

An attack from Iran results in their end.

The people are not with the Mullahs. A large portion of their military would not fight.

It would be embarassing.

That said, I would rather not go to war and just suck them dry through sanctions which would allow a natural overhaul.

You know what would had been better? If Obama had backed the Iranian people when they rose up a decade ago and wanted help but Obama didn’t do anything

We've had sanctions on Cuba for half a century and there hasn't been a natural overhaul.

The best way to overhaul is to expose the people to free market economics so they can have more of it. Iran was probably the most progressive government in the middle east before we instigated into their politics.
