Global Events & Politics Überthread

I remember the good old days when you were called a Putin apologist for saying Russian Collusion wasn't real.

But if fired Verizon guy can point to any post of mine that is favorable of Putin, I'd love to see it.

(This is the part where he doesn't)

not hard to find:

I too am on the "Putin is not the devil" train.

Frankly - everyone time I've listened to him speak or read his speech - he comes across as completely rational and has issues with the US foreign policy (just like I do).

I'm not a psychologist so take this with a grain of salt or two, but I'm not surprised you find Putin to be "completely rational."

Your contrarian indicators are bullet proof... So whatever your assumptions of me, I'm glad the opposite is true

That quote above... Not sure where you pulled it or the context. But I am certain it's not about this Ukraine situation which I'm allegedly siding with Putin on from the fat fired Verizon guy.

My guess is it came from the Russia threat you routinely embarrassed yourself in.

Only thing i'm projecting is the number of people you'll see in the next 5 months. Under 10

I can't help but laugh at the guy who was so sufficiently and pathetically scared that he supported the arrest of a paddle boarder and wished death on women for going to a park, while calling me selfish for not cowering in fear in my home, talking about how active he is today.

Drink less of those IPAs and COVID won't hurt you fella

Already got COVID, probably had it again but was asymptomatic judging by how my closest social circle got it. You see I have friends, and a life. I see many more people a year than you do without even trying. I'm not personally afraid of COVID. unlike you who's afraid of socializing beside from being behind a computer screen.

I'll keep drinking my IPAs at my cookouts, and at bars, and at concerts.

Virginia last week. St John's this week. Boston next week. I could use a break from seeing people to be honest. Good suggestion
