Ukraine is corrupt... so corrupt that Russia shut down all the remaining independent TV and radio stations in Russia, is close to cutting off the internet, and has already shut down all social media.
Whatever corruption Ukraine has, Putin understandably does not want it to spread into Russian politics. He is protecting his people from being exposed to Ukraine and the West's corruption and propoganda. Admirable. He wants to free the country of neo-nazis and drug addicts first.

That's the issue for Vlad the Bad. The Ukrainians have been struggling to get rid of this corrupt system that is like Russia's. He can't tolerate that they might succeed.
Where is this idea that effectively 99% of the world doesn't realize that Putin is a tyrant and the county is terribly corrupt?
Why does Russia need to be inserted into a conversation about Ukraines corruption as if you are trying to deny it exists?
Oh yeah - After 2014 Ukraine definitely got LESS corrupt. I'm sure the Western elites really want to get rid of their honeypot.

Here is a slide show of the palace the former president (the one comrade Manafartov worked for) built for himself. So yeah they are making progress. But it has been a struggle and they have a long ways to go.

it’s funny that you’re against NATO.
NATO is the only reason we haven’t intervened directly yet. All Putin has done is show the world and Ukraine why NATO is necessary and why they should have joined.
Right now we’re doing everything aid wise but military boots on the ground.
