The Liberal World order screwed everything up.

Fought Russia because we ran a coup against Russia in Ukraine back in 2014 and now Russia and the CCP are strong allies.

Anyone who shills for this LIberal World Order is an absolute chump.

Honestly it doesn't matter at this point. Russia has spent the past few months in Ukraine showing the rest of the world just how far the kleptocracy has dragged their military down. Ukraine isn't enough on their own, but Ukraine, Poland, and GB could probably wipe the floor with Russia at this point. The Pacific and Middle East are the theatres that matter now, with the Middle East on the way out and South America on the way in.

CCP has been infiltrating South/Central America for over a decade now with their predatory lending.

Russia's sheer land mass makes them a great strategic partner and of course the amount of natural resources they possess.

Is Russia's military down or are they just going against in reality the US to a stalemate and even gaining territory?

THe bottom line is we were moving closer towards an 'agreement' with Russia and would have been allied with them against the CCP in the inevitable war that is to come. We are in a significantly worse position now with Russia and India trending towards the CCP axis of evil. And again, the only reason why this has blown up in our face is because the LIberal World Order had to overthrow a democratically elected government in Ukraine and they did so because they wanted their 'burisma positions'.

It would be better for the US if Russia and the CCP weren't friends. Our post WW2 foreign policy has basically been to prevent any partnership that would be stronger that we are. So keep Russia and Europe separated, keep China opposed to most of the rest of Asia, keep the Arab nations in the Middle East from forming a caliphate, etc. It's a little known fact that throughout the 70s and 80s, more Soviet troops were close to the China border than were close to Europe.

Long term it's probably better that Russia cozy up to China than it would be for Russia to get friendly with Europe. Russia is using China for prestige and cash. China is using Russia for air and naval design, but there isn't much left on that vine. China will never be their partner, but we all saw Europe was bending themselves over the green energy desk for Russian gas.

India is like a moon shared between planets. They're constantly leaning one way or another but they refuse to be on anyone's side but their own. China is making plays in Africa but there's not much to gain there besides some port and airbase rights.

South America is where the new Cold War will be fought. China knows that right now all we have to do to win a military conflict is blockade them. It would cripple the world economy but it would ruin China. Having allies in Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan makes that easy to do. Their goal in South America is to put us in the same position, while they work on the Belt and Road Initiative to try to create enough of a lifeline to survive a blockade.

I look at it as more of a cultural match and I think Russia is a natural ally of America (At least the part that still believes in the real America). The Russian people have embedded with them a more cultural conservative and traditional viewpoint.

The elections in Brazil is the tipping point. Have to pray that Bolsonaro wins.

Actually, the two main Taiwanese political parties differ on this.

Fair. Perhaps I'd have been more accurate saying they have historically considered themselves the true leaders of China and that it is still a view held by many there today.

Lol. You are reaching new levels of butt hurr.

I have criticized her countless times, but credit to Speaker Pelosi for not cow towing to the CCP.

Yup.

I don't know why the trip was necessary to begin with... but once they started throwing threats, can't back down now.

But maybe this was a grand plan to get us into another war

I don't see whats the point of the trip but all hands on deck when it comes to the CCP.

I don't care if you are a scumbag Democrat (that benefitted from the CCP influence in Cali). Everyone in the world should join together in condemning all aspects of the CCP.

I don’t have a problem showing support for Taiwan while China quietly saber rattles. I believe part of the reason Russia invaded Ukraine was because the US didn’t effectively make it obvious how they would respond.

And that started with Biden haphazardly pulling out of Afghanistan. Made America look weak. Power only respects Power.

Letting the prisoners out at Bagram and abandoning that area was just a brutal decision that will come back to haunt the US for decades.

It was unanimously lauded as the wrong air field to withdraw from and no one was willing to just say yeah my bad.

A lot like our lefty posters here actually.

And we all know it would have been handled better by orders of magnitude by the 'other guy'.
