Global Events & Politics Überthread

They really are marching us to nuclear was over a city in a country nobody ever heard of five years ago

It's amazing how much the world has collapsed since Trump left office

The point is to destabilize the world so they can pick up the pieces when people get desperate.

Bolsonaro in Brazil loses in the first round of voting. Could still win in a runoff but he lost to the Democrat by 5 million votes in round 1. He has already said he has no plans on leaving if he loses. No doubt those who supported the insurrection here will support his coup.

“The Ukrainian armed forces commanders in the south and east are throwing problems at the Russian chain of command faster than the Russians can effectively respond,” said a Western official who requested anonymity to brief reporters about sensitive security information. “And this is compounding the existing dysfunction within the Russian invasion force.”

The Ukrainian counteroffensive, which had moved far more slowly in the south compared to the lightning push through the northeast Kharkiv region in September, has suddenly picked up speed, with Russian units retreating in recent days from a large swath of territory along the west bank of the Dnieper River.

Ukrainian forces pushed ahead dozens of miles into the southern Kherson region, liberating towns and villages and recreating scenes from mid-September when they swept into Kharkiv and were greeted by joyful residents who had spent many months under Russian occupation.

On Monday, the spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry acknowledged that “superior tank units” of Ukraine had “wedged in the depth of our defense line” near the villages of Zolota Balka and Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region.

"They Huessein sympathizers aren't going to like that!"

"The Assad sympathizers aren't going to like that!"

Same playbook for the war cucks. Same result. More useless war that 10 years later we all agree was a huge mistake

What has gotten better/calmer since Trump has left office?

I know that the left loves the fact that we now have war again... but most non demons agree that more war is bad.

So curious what has gotten better since the orange man left?

unemployment rate january 2021 6.4%

now 3.7%

federal deficit down bigly since even pre-pandemic (2019) levels

i presume all the fiscal conservatives around here are too busy doing cartwheels in celebration to have time to post about this momentous development

i leave it to the experts to dissect the latest iteration of the Atlanta Fed's GDPNow projections

lol I was talking the global events.

seems the world has devolved into chaos. Perhaps you can reassure me why things are better with biden at the helm like you did with the super great covid comp comparison

oh job growth over 400,000 per month this year

last year was even better, but was coming out of covid

speaking of covid, why did Xi develop, weaponize and unleash a bioweapon that killed over a million Americans during very poorly chosen one's presidency

it seems to me this was a mildly chaotic event reflecting the fact that Xi knew he could bamboozle very poorly chosen one into praising him for "doing a great job" of killing Americans

That is indeed what I expected

Doesn't it suck to know you can't even defend what you adamantly believe

I'll never forget when you proudly posted "I am intelligent"

So good

It appears to me our number one war cheerleader can't identify what has gotten better on the global scale since trump left.

And appears the ONLY thing he can point to in general is a lower unemployment rate against COVID comps.

Kinda sad they can't think of one thing that got better after taking the big scarry orange man

But at least we are closer than ever to nuclear war!!

Well done leftist idiots
