We have 100 years.of central planning to study. You have your answer right in front of you

No I think you nor any governing body is intelligent enough to plan what is good and what isn't.

Especially knowing how easily people are bought and paid for.

It doesn't work. We have the evidence right in front of our eyes.

Where your analysis fails you is you have misdiagnosed the dease. You grew up being taught that America is a lazefair capitalist free market system. And it is clearly not working. Ergo, free.markrys are flawed

But America is not a free market.capitalist system. We are exactly what you want us to be. A centrally planned organization that picks and chooses winners based on whatever is wanted at that time

This is a failed.system, and your proposed solution - which is the same system - will also fail

I find it fascinating that me saying we should stop doing all business with the CCP has resulted in you lobbing an accusation that I want central planning. Then you try to make the false equivalence to a ridiculous action by Canada to a dairy farmer.

You continue on supporting trade with the CCP because thats all I want stopped.

I actually agree with you for once. It will hurt our economy a ton but we need to cut ties with China. All we are doing is feeding our enemy making him stronger. I understand the logic for keeping ties with China despite their actions but I don't think it's realistic anymore to think that western influence might cause the Chinese people to rise up against the CCP. China is too big. Technology is too advanced.
