Gohara...what is wrong with him?

Of all of the pitching prospects the Braves have, Gohara seems to be the least talked about.

Last night, he continued his early season dominance. Of course for the Braves he is OLD for his level being 20 already at A+.

On the year he has a pretty good line at 4 games, 21 IP, 1.29 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 20K, 4BB, 0 HR (arguably the best of any starter so far).

Last year he dominated A ball also, 1.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 10 K/9IP, 1HR allowed.

Something has to be wrong with this guy or he would be discussed more. Can someone help me identify his flaws?
 
I mean, he's been discussed quite a bit. He's been great, and I love seeing it, especially the walks coming down while still striking people out. He just hasn't been around quite as long as some other guys, so we're not used to talking about him and are still sort of waiting to see what we have.

But he's been phenomenal, and plenty of people are pumped about it.
 
With Florida being maybe the weakest of our minor league affiliates, I just find myself attracted to Gohara and Alex Jackson.

Both seem to have an aura of pessimism around them or maybe not negative, just nothing. (maybe because they are both fat)
 
I think part of the reason is that he's most likely to end up in the pen. He's got a great fastball and a good slider, iirc. But he needs to develop a third pitch to start. There are also concerns about his stamina.

He probably projects best as a pen piece but with his stuff he could end up as a dominant late inning reliever. Still worth getting excited about
 
Gohara has been talked about a ton. He's probably got the most helium of any of our prospects at the moment

I have heard this, but just looking at the line last night, he went 7 IP. Hopefully his change can develop.

I don't see his pitches being his detriment. He actually has 2 different sliders. One is more of a sweeping slider and one is a breaking slider. He change is fringe but it's still a new pitch and most reports say he does have a feel for it. Even if it's an average change, the sky is the limit. The big question is durability and stamina like you also said.
