Going to Atlanta for a game

Well I guess it will depend on what we are going to do besides baseball. I can say there will be alcohol involved. Don't plan on being in the room much anyway either.

I've stay at Ramada Plaza. Don't see anything wrong about it. Walk to game, uber anywhere else.

I believe when I was down there for the NFCCG in 2013 I stayed near Emory and it wasn't too bad. Had no issues and I was by myself. Is Emory area decent and fairly close to the Ted?

Flights booked. Hotel is booked at well. Staying right near Turner Field at the Country Inn and Suites Carlson.

Just need tickets to the game(s), but will worry about that later on. Things we are going to do are the Coca Cola tour and the College Football HOF. I know the Olympic Park is really close to both of those as well. More than likely using Uber to get around. Assuming there are plenty of bars in this area. My only thought is they might be super overpriced being so close to the stadium?

The aquarium is overpriced, but nice. Don't know anything about bars. Nothing real close to the park is very nice. No fast food particularly close, but there is a Wendy's about a mile away. In the daytime, if the weather's nice, you can walk from the hotel to downtown, but it's not a good idea at night, or if your physique resembles Bowman's. Or perhaps it would be an even better idea if that were the case. I actually like him okay, and wish he would walk some of it off, for his health.

Most of those places are pretty much walking distance; CNN center, Olympic Park, etc....I recommend you avoid Underground Atlanta....but have to hit up Fat Matts for BBQ and a beer. And of course have to hit up the Varsity for some grease

Fat Matts and Varsity are close to the stadium? I have heard about Varsity..hot dog place, right?

Flying into Atlanta tomorrow around noon. Gonna get tickets tomorrow for the game and then possibly hitting up game 4 for the Hawks on Sunday.

What was that Braves app where you can upstage your tickets?

Had a good time at the game. Maybe 6000 people there and that's being generous. Very boring game ovrerall.
