GTD 10/14/22: Braves @ Philthies - NLDS Game 3

Coors light in me really is the difference. Dating back to the Mets series game 1, we've won every game I've drank some, and lost every game I haven't. I couldn't drink Tuesday at work, and I had to drive part of the way tonight... my wife and I are flying to Vegas in the morning. I will drink coors light like water tomorrow

Coors Light IS water. Not an acceptable excuse.
 
I feel ok about tomorrow now that I've cooled off. Even if we don't win though, the future is still bright. Knowing we aren't facing the end of our contention window and having won it all last year, does make it a little easier to cope with potentially finishing up tomorrow. Go get em, Charlie... help em out, Austin

This is me exactly. Frustrated about today - it was a really bad loss, but that’s baseball. Phillies are playing great ball. But we’re a great team. Win tomorrow and take it back to Truist. Honestly, having all-hands-on deck for tomorrow makes me feel better.
 
I know it's 1 game at a time, but would the Phillies consider bringing Wheeler back on 3 days rest to pitch some of Game 5 and tag team with Suarez? Of course, the Braves have to show up tomorrow against Thor.

I’m sure they would. 3 days rest is not really a recipe for success though.

They will definitely use Wheeler on 3 days rest for game 5 with their season on the line. I mean they have to.
 
And dodgers get out of it. It was literally the exact same spot we were in when we tried to extend strider. One manager knows what he's doing, and unfortunately, one doesn't
 
There’s much doubt about Morton tomorrow…but if they don’t tattoo Syndegaards ass tomorrow they absolutely deserve to lose…he’s been putrid since coming Over to Philly
 
Morton is the best big game pitcher we have. I know he hasn’t been great this year but he’s a proven guy in the playoffs. Phillies have trash pitching going tomorrow while we have all hands on deck. If this goes back to Atlanta I say we win. Dodgers not looking to hot right now either. Good teams lose games sometimes. Just how it is.

When all your midseason acquisitions are GOATing one after the other, you don't need to rely on Snit to make decisions.


Matzek was untouchable the entire month of October pretty much.

Joc was GOATing the LDS to LCS.
Rosario was the entire LCS.
Soler was WS.

All hands on deck except when Contreras is still on the bench so Ozuna, Grossman, or Rosario can get AB's over him.

Yeah it’s why winning a World Series is so difficult. Let’s hope this team bounces back in a big way tomorrow
