Guess Harris debut date

We’ve seen young guys come up and energize a team, spurring on a good stretch of wins. Hopefully Harris can be a spark like that.

I don't watch other teams enough to know, but it does seem every player the braves call up starts red hot... and then completely falls off.

It takes a couple games for other teams to build a plan against a new player. Then the new guy has to adjust to that new plan, and sometimes they aren’t ready for that type of adversity.

It's always odd to me that teams don't start throwing sliders off the plate against new guys. Almost all the guys with any hype can hit fastballs.
 
Looks like the Braves surprised all of us by bringing him up this quickly. Hope he plays well & doesn’t go back to the minors. He hasn’t hit LHPs much this year but let’s hope he makes the needed adjustments.

Hey, on 5/2, when the thread was created, I said 5/30. It was 5/28. I think somebody has broken Louisville Slugger and a Travis Demeritte-autographed batting practice foul popup coming to them.
